By contrast, if you sign up for a traditional plan with a major cellular carrier, you’ll likely sign a contract binding you for a year or more. If you break the contract, you’ll have to pay a big penalty. Another plus of prepaid plans is that you are in control of everything, your calls and text messaging, its all up to you how to budget everything.
